When this high-performing banking and financial services firm was seeking a new, quality-focused employee orientation program, it turned to the U. S. Learning team. The result was A Course In Quality, a program that is now distributed across the firm’s 700-plus bank offices and business units. This same program has been successful in enabling longer-tenured employees to advance their skills through the SouthTrust Quality Academy. More than 10,000 copies of the workbook that accompanies the video series are now in the hands of SouthTrust employees.  A comprehensive internal facilitators program has been implemented, and a series of internalization exercises help employees put their new ideas into action.

Green Tree, a division of Conseco, first asked U. S. Learning to assist in the creation of Green Tree University, with initial modules that focused on advancing the knowledge and skills of its customers. The strategy was simple: If Green Tree dealers sold more, Green Tree Financial would secure more business and solidify key relationships. The program has been a resounding success, and U. S. Learning has since helped the company develop and implement an internal customer service program. Green Tree’s innovative approach to training has made the company a pacesetter in its industry, and Green Tree is now working with U. S. Learning to develop additional programs that will touch a larger spectrum of Green Tree employees and customers.

Cavalier University

Top management of this leading manufacturer of quality homes continues to partner with U. S. Learning to grow the skills of their people. The first program series focused on leadership and management skills, and the results were extremely positive and immediate. This was followed by a program series on customer service excellence. NHFA University

The National Home Furnishings Association (NHFA) is just one of a number of trade associations that have turned to U. S. Learning to assist in membership education. U. S. Learning helped develop NHFA University to deliver teleconference, live and taped training programs to hundreds of NHFA member firms. This initiative has helped NHFA meet the critical need to enhance furniture and furnishings retailers’ competitiveness in today’s challenging environment. Sizable firms have welcomed the program as an excellent addition to their internal training initiatives, and smaller retailers see it as a major benefit of NHFA membership--a benefit that helps keep them "in the game" and winning more frequently!
